Easter 2014

We celebrated Easter with the Demullings on Saturday. It was a great day! Grandpa Mike hid eggs for the kids outside, Grandma Alice had little gift bags for the kids inside and Great Grandma Helen brought eggs and prizes for the kids to win playing a dice game. The cousins had so much fun together and Maggie especially enjoyed the Dauwalters new pet bunny Lily! She cuddled with that bunny wrapped up in a blanket stroking it's head.......so cute!!
Sunday morning the girls got up early and found their Easter baskets in the house and then headed outside to find their eggs! They got all dolled up in their Easter dresses and we headed to church and then straight to Grandma and Grandpa Souvignier's house. It was a beautiful day!! Temps in the upper 70's.......... such a welcome change! We sat on the deck and enjoyed the nice sunshine. The kids once again were spoiled by Grandma and Grandpa with eggs to find and little treat bags as well! The cousins played outside all day and even asked for the sprinkler to be turned on! We decided it might be a little early in the season for that!
A wonderful weekend spent with family!! Weekends like this make me realize how blessed I am and and thankful!!

Spring Break 2014!

This year Maggie and my spring break overlapped by a few days and we made the most of it! We went to the Water Park of America and stayed over night. The girls loved staying in the hotel and thought the Water Park was pretty cool. Maggie was fearless and went down every slide- she's now old enough to go down by herself! Ruby was a big fan of the Lazy River and she went down a few of the water slides too! Since it was snowing and cold and Dad took the day off, we stopped to go bowling on the way home! It was a great stay-cation!

Happy St. Patrick's Day 2014

We celebrated St. Patrick's Day at our house this year! What a fun day with friends and family! The girls got a little crazy with their shamrock and leprechaun stickers!

Our Fort Meyers Get-Away

Chuck and I had a chance to get away to one of our favorite spots- Fort Meyers Beach! We left Minneapolis in one of the worst snow storms of the season (all schools in the area were closed) and arrived in Florida to 85' and sunshine! It was perfect! Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Demulling for coming to our house and watching the girls and Lou! They also had a great time!
