Merry Chirstmas!

When we compare last Christmas to this one there have been a lot of changes! The Souvignier Christmas had a few extra kiddos join in the fun this year! It was fun to watch Grandma and Grandpa enjoy their first Christmas with Maggie and her cousin Jack! There are lots of pictures in the web album of the two of them together! We missed the Tucson Souvigniers, but we're really looking forward to spending some time with them in the end of February when they fly up to MN.
The Demulling Christmas also had a few extra little ones sharing in the fun! In the last couple of years Grandma and Grandpa Demulling went from having 1 grandkid (Ella) to 5 grandchildren!!! And they LOVE it! It's rare to find Grandpa without a baby if not two in his arms. I think he still holds his title that grandma and the rest of us gave him- "Baby hog"! We missed the Denver Demullings, but we were fortunate to have spent Thanksgiving all together and we're also going to spend some time together in Aimes, IA in a few weeks too! Can't wait!
This Christmas has also been extra special for Chuck and I. We are so blessed to have Maggie in our lives. We thank God everyday for his gift to us. Maggie is now 6 1/2 months old and her personality is really shining through! She has been smiling, giggling, squealing, and rolling over a lot lately! She also started solid foods and so far her favorite is squash! She is a very alert baby- loves to check everything out with her eyes, her hands and her mouth! She still loves Lou and lou loves her back. I catch her laughing at Lou a lot and she doesn't even mind when Lou gives her kisses which we try not to let happen very often!
I love the chaos of the holidays and it's so fun to bring family together. We are so blessed to have such great family and friends! The other night when it was just Chuck, Maggie and I (and Lou) sitting in our quite cozy little living room next to our Christams tree with the lights glowing I wanted to pause time and just remember the feeling of gratitude I had. I was so thankful for my weekend of family gatherings and also for my own little family. I can only hope that many years down the road when our kids are grown, we'll be able to carry on the wonderful tradition with as much style and grace that our parents have.

LOTS TO GIVE THANKS FOR!

Happy Thanksgiving! We have so much to be thankful for! This year the Demulling family celebrated Turkey Day out in Denver at Trent and Aimee's new house! It was so nice to all be together! The cousins had a lot of fun........I can't believe we already have a kid's table in our growing family!! Thanks to Trent and Aimee for hosting all of us!! It was so much fun!! We have updated the picasa web album with LOTS of pictures from the trip! Also, I added a few new pictures at the end of the November album as well.
It has been a big month for Maggie! She had her first trip in an airplane and did quite well! She also started going to Daycare now that I'm back to work. She has two full days in and I think she likes it! At least that's what I'm telling myself!! She went to bed at 5:30 last night and only made it to 5:15 tonight! Hopefully she gets used to the new routine and can stay up a little longer so that Dad can see her for a little bit before she c0nks out!
She's also sitting up a little on her own and smiling up a storm! We love to get her giggling.....there's nothing better than that sound!! We're looking forward to getting together with everyone for the holidays!
