Autumn Races

I found some great cross country races in the cities.  The trails were beautiful- especially this time of year.  The Surly 5K Loppet and the 5 Mile Run for the Apples in White Bear Lake are on my list to definitely do again!  Chuck and the girls were so great to come and cheer me on!

Fall Fun!

It has been a couple months since my last post.  This Fall has been fun and busy.  The girls are really enjoying their time at Peggy's Daycare in Hopkins.  They have made lots of new friends and come home with projects everyday!  We went on the annual pumpkin train ride in Osceola with Grandma Alice this past weekend and also had a beautiful day for a hayride from Uncle Randy!  There are lots of pictures in the picasa web album.  The girls are looking forward to Halloween- only about a week away!

The Souvigniers

Above we have all of the Souvigniers together at the cabin!  It's always fun when the Tucson Souvigniers come into town! We did a lot while they were here- had a great time at the cabin and also made it out to the Annual Fish Fry in Souix Falls, SD! 

Summer Fun!

 Hard to believe that summer is over!!  Tomorrow is Friday, my last Friday before heading back to school.  The girls were at such fun ages this summer! We had so much fun!  Our week days consisted of lots of walks to the splash pad and park, visits to Chux for lunch with Dad, trips to the library, and lots more!  I'll miss hanging out with my girls!!  But, they are very excited to start their new daycare.  They went two days this week and loved it!!  It's taken awhile, but I uploaded lots more pictures from this summer into the picasa web album.

Happy 4th of July 2012!

The 4th of July was on a HOT Wednesday this year.  Hot as in 100' for about three days in a row.  The pool at Grandma and Grandpa Demulling's was just what we all needed!  Ruby discovered the slide and LOVED it!  I think she went down about 5 times in a row.  Once I even sent her by herself!  We also spent some time out at Uncle Don's house for a BBQ and some nice lake time.  We spent most of the day on the sand bar in the water (the lake water was reading 86') and took a ride on Grandma and Grandpa's new pontoon!  We worked our way back to SLP that evening and Maggie was bound and determined to stay up for the fire works, so the two of us headed over to the park and watched a pretty good show while fending off all of the friendly mosquitoes!  Fun couple of days!  I love this time of year!
